Sidewalk Chalk Memories Saved in Video

For Advisory on May 23rd, students used chalk to write down their memories from each month of the past school year on the sidewalk outside the Upper School. See a video of their Sidewalk Chalk Memories to the sounds of Max Rickard ’22 singing “Upside Down” from Graduation.

Massman Awarded Executive Women International Scholarship

The Spokane Chapter of Executive Women International has awarded scholarships to three local high school juniors totaling $12,000 to help them achieve their educational goals after high school. The EWI Scholarship Program selected the top applications from 14 schools, invited five students to a personal interview, and awarded scholarships to the three finalists. SGS junior Bianca Massman was named the winner of the top EWI Scholarship of $6,000. Congratulations, Bianca!

Gunn Signs to Play Soccer at Tufts

Senior James Gunn signed to play soccer at Tufts University in Massachusetts in a ceremony on May 19 that featured kind words from SGS Boys Soccer Coach Heidi Melville. The Tufts “Jumbos” reached the Elite Eight in Division III men’s soccer last fall. See a Photo Gallery of the event in the Dragon Room with friends and family.
