Robotics Team BBQ Honors Morgan & Seniors

On May 18, the SGS Robotics team hosted an end-of-year BBQ to celebrate Judi Morgan for being an instrumental part of the Robotics program since 2011. She was presented with a wooden plaque, created by Finley Wolff and embellished by the Foster family, to commemorate her years of service. She was also surprised by Jamie Tender with the creation of a new robotics award named for her and long time Robotics coach and Physics teacher Rick Deford. The first recipient of this award was Finley Wolff, who has been an indispensable part of the FTC and FRC teams this year, mentoring the younger members, designing and creating the robots, and coaching both teams. They also celebrated all of the seniors — Chase Foster, Finley Wolff, Ethan Wu and Alyssa Zhou. See a Photo Gallery of the event.
