Outdoor Pursuits Class Explores Campus

The Upper School’s Outdoor Pursuits class learned to use a compass and read topographic maps recently, then they divided up into three teams for an orienteering challenge to find 10 markers located along the Little Spokane River and up in the woods above campus. See photo galleries of them Learning to Use a Compass with Outdoor Director Melanie Mildrew and racing around in the Orienteering Challenge (urged on by Health & Fitness Instructor Jim Tuck’s dog Trusty).
