“Memory Project” Portraits of Orphans in Art Gallery

The faces of Nigerian children adorn the Upper School Art Gallery this month. The Intro to Art and 2D Drawing classes created the portraits from photos provided by the Memory Project, which then delivers the handmade, heartfelt portraits as special memories to children in orphanages around the world. Saint George’s Upper School art students have been drawing portraits of orphans for the Memory Project for a number of years. See a Photo Gallery of the student’s portraits and watch a Memory Project Video about the children in Nigeria that appear in the gallery.
