Courses: SAT Prep
SAT prep class taught by Josh Hayes, SGS teacher of History and Economics. Josh has been teaching this SAT class for many years. In this class you will learn how to increase your test scores! You will learn proven test-taking strategies with an experienced SAT instructor. The course includes 24 hours of instruction and 2 full-length timed practice tests as well as review of math skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and essay writing. Students will be preparing for the June 2nd test date. Current SGS juniors who didn’t take this class averaged a 50 point increase in their PSAT scores between their sophomore and junior years (that’s good). This class is targeted at 11th graders (aiming to help them take the June 2nd SAT 1)or 9th & 10th grade (trying to boost their PSAT scores this fall).
