Summer Programs 2011

Welcome to the Saint George’s School Summer Program for 2011.  We have a fantastic set of camps lined up with an equally stellar group of instructors to keep your child engaged and excited through the summer!  Whether it's baseball or bouldering, robotics or reading, our summer program is aimed at giving kids a fun experience while adding a little extra preparation for the upcoming school year.  We hope you decide to join us this summer – it’s going to be a blast!

The red tabs below have details about each of the camps and instructors -- click on a tab to view the full description.  Most of the courses are numbered chronologically, so refer to each course description for recommended grade level and cost.

Registration – There are three ways to register this year.  You can fill out a printable registration form and mail it in with your payment, you can have the registration billed to your SGS student account, or you can pay online with a credit or debit card.  All three options are available by going to the Online Registration Form or clicking the red "Register" button on the left side of this page.

Discounts & Deadlines – All registrations made May 1, 2011 or later will pay full price.  Registration will be closed two weeks before each camp begins.

Camp Cancellation – If camps are cancelled due to lack of campers, or for any other reason, the cancellation will be communicated to the instructor and the parents no later than the two week registration deadline.  A full refund will be given for camp cancellations.

Payment – Payment can be made by check, cash or credit card.  Those who use a credit or debit card will be charged a convenience fee of 2.5%.  If payment is by credit card and a refund is necessary, it will be in the form of a reimbursement check.  Refunds will not be credited back to credit cards that were used to pay for registration.

Child Care – This summer we will offer child care between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during the weeks camps are in session.  This will allow for morning, lunch and afternoon supervision of children during those times when half-day or full-day camps are not in session.  For example, if a camp runs from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., there will be supervision from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. for lunch and then from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. after the conclusion of the day’s camp session.  Child care will be available during the weeks of June 13-17, June 20-14, June 27-July 1, July 18-22, August 8-12 and August 23-25.  Child care is $20 for a half day or $10 for the final two-hour session (3:00 - 5:00 p.m.) of a full-day camp.  Child care services are payable on the first day of the camp.

Lunches – Campers will need to provide their own sack lunch if they are staying for the full day.  It will be up to the discretion of the camp instructor as to whether snacks or drinks will be provided for the campers during their camp.

If you have further questions concerning any individual camp or about Saint George's summer programs in general, please contact our instructors directly or me at any time.  Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your campers this summer!
