Welcome to Saint George's

You have to see it to believe it

Thirty-two impressionist painters are hosting a gallery viewing at the stately Davenport House. Twenty-four runners are practicing a baton hand-off on the soccer field. Twenty budding engineers are designing, building and demonstrating a robot, preparing for national competition. Each child is discovering what’s inside – inside the school and inside themselves.

Teachers and fellow students help a new fourth grader, whose first two languages are French and Dutch, to quickly get up to speed with the language and academic expectations. Three years later his parents are transferred back to Europe for work, and he not only speaks beautiful English and teases like any American sixth grader, but he also excels in voice and drama – areas he had not explored before.

Saint George’s School prepares students for college and for life, by reinforcing strong values, providing academic challenges, and developing meaningful relationships. In a supportive community where every teacher knows every child well, students flourish in a multitude of ways – many of them unexpected.

Our leading cross country runner, who shines at long distances, is next in line to fill out the 4 x 400 relay – not her strongest event. However, it is what the team needs, and our girls dominate the race all the way to the state tournament. This runner had dug deep and stretched her flexibility to become a top sprinter – discovering inside more than she realized she could do.

Only a small school with excellent teachers committed to individual instruction, coaching and engagement can challenge every student where they are to bring out their full potential. We are the only such school in the Inland Northwest.
