    Katie DePonty'01, the new SGS Alumni Association President

    Please welcome Katie DePonty '01 as the new SGS Alumni President and Genny Mann Morris '90, as the new Vice President. She is joined by new board members Jannah Archibald (Garner) '91, Ben Coleman '93, Jenny Gunn (Spencer) '90, Dan Kuney '97, and returning board members Bob Jones '82 (former president), John Morrow '75, Sally Poutiatine (Stanton) '80, and Missy Willis (Coffin) '63.

  • Alumni Wins Basketball Game vs. Varsity

    Everyone had a great time at the Alumni/Varsity Basketball game on June 1st, in The Errol Schmidt Athletic Center. Coaches Mark Rickard, Ryan Peplinski, and John Blake joined the 6 alums to make 9 for the alumni (white) team verses the 12 on the varsity (red) team. Coaches Allie Bailey and Lynn Robinson were the referees and lower school students Cade and Cody Peplinski were the score keepers.

  • The First 50-Year Class Reunion Celebration is Right After Graduation 2009

    The class of 1959 will be honored as the first 50-year class reunion with a celebration after graduation 2009 and all alumni are invited. The 10-year class of 1999, 20-year class of 1989, 30-year class of 1979, 40-year class of 1969, and the 25-year class of 1984 will be highlighted. All alumni are invited.   • Saint George's Wins State Scholastic Cup

    The Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup goes to Saint George's School for 2007-08

    For the first time, Saint George's has won the Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup, a statewide honor for schools that recognizes outstanding performance in both academics and athletics! Our teams' great performances at state competitions throughout 2007-08 and their high grade point averages earned us the Scholastic Cup for 2B schools. We overtook Evergreen Lutheran with our achievements in track and tennis on the final weekend of state events in May.

    Then & Now: Kari Hutchinson Mueller '94 The postseason was a blur. It started innocently, a sixth-seed beating an 11-seed handily, 93-62. Then the six shocked the three-seed 86-83 to get the first Sweet 16 berth in school history. At the regional in Columbia, S.C., came a surprisingly easy 87-71 win over the two-seed. The regional final was a 62-52 win over the five-seed, which had upended the No. 1 seed. Then it was on to the Final Four. That's where everything slowed down for Kari Hutchinson Mueller, a B legend from St. George's and then a junior reserve at Notre Dame...

  • High Notes: Cynthia Romoff '87

    After ten years as a part-time singer and secretary in New York, Cynthia (Kirkman) Romoff '87 was looking for more balance in her life. Missing the green trees of Spokane, she visited Colorado and fell in love with the place. She also met her husband, Todd, who said he fell in love with her the moment he heard her sing.
