Discover the wide world of learning

Saint George's School

The presence of students and their families from more than 25 nations adds immeasurably to the learning experience for all students at Saint George’s. They share their different back grounds and perspectives on the world in the classroom and with their friends. Nowhere is this more visible than at the school’s annual International Day celebration. Cooking from Pakistan, crafts from Japan, movies from India, dance from Ireland, toys from Russia, music from Kenya – our students and staff share their cultures in a busy and enriching, fun day.

Saint George's School

Our students also can become informed citizens of the world through international student exchange opportunities. Saint George’s has a wonderfully collaborative exchange program with Mukogawa Womens University, Junior and Senior High School in Nishinomiya, Japan. Each May two students from Mukogawa Japan arrive at Saint George’s to spend six weeks improving their English and experiencing American culture. The second week of June they return to Japan along with two Saint George’s students for an amazing cultural experience. They live with the Japanese exchange students’ families and discover a world of difference – and surprising similarities – between our two countries.
