Advanced Placement Courses
Cool classes, plus college credit
AAdvanced Placement classes are a significant part of our Upper School curriculum. Students can take college-level courses from Saint George’s teachers in Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, Environmental Science, English Language, English Literature, European History, French, Physics, Studio Art, and U.S. History.
The proportion of Saint George’s students who take AP Classes, and earn 4’s and 5’s on the tests, is higher than almost any school in the region. As a result, our students can earn college credit and enter the world of higher education with invaluable experience.
Every AP US History class meets for two study sessions at my house before the exam. It’s pizza, carmel brownies, and six hours spent reveling in the beauty and poetry that is American History.”
